Walton Chase is a broker that exists since 1986. They offer a secure trading network, cutting-edge technology and prestigious industry connections. They promise to offer reliable, secure and transparent trading to each client.
The founders are professional traders, with a lot of experience. I always like to hear that people behind the company have so many experiences, but that fact also raises my expectations a lot. So, let’s see in this Walton Chase review whether this broker will be able to fulfil those expectations.
Walton Chase promises the best trading commission, no matter the trading style. So, let’s see how they plan to fulfil that promise. Account Types are the first thing I want to reflect on. There are four of them, which means they made different account options for everyone, indeed.
The first one is Silver. The deposit requirement is 250 EUR and the benefits you have with this one are over 200 trading assets, market reviews and the leverage up to 1:100. If you prefer to deposit more and gain better possibilities, the next Account Type that might fit your needs is Gold one. With this account, the deposit requirement is 10,000 EUR. You will have over 200 assets and market reviews as well, but aside from that, you can enjoy bonus funds, dedicated senior account manager, Gold Spreads, financial and risk management planning, special venture promotions and monthly webinars. Not bad at all, I must say!
Now, onto the Platinum Account that offers all those things I mentioned in the Gold one, but it has some additions. For example, you receive trading signals, webinars are on weekly bases, there is a private analyst session and prioritised withdrawal process Level Two. The minimum deposit requirement for Platinum Account is 50,000 EUR.
And as the last option, they have a VIP Account. This is an invitation-only account, and you receive a lot of things like VIP Spreads, leverage up to 1:400, complete access to trade room analysis and webinars, access to lucrative VIP events, and Level One prioritised withdrawal process.
I will have to admit, they impressed me with this offer. The accounts are different, there is something for everybody so it doesn’t matter how much experience you have, you will be able to find an offer that suits you.
You don’t have to pay any commission for account maintenance, but if you are not active in the period of 30 days, there is a 99 USD/EUR/GBP Dormant Account Fee that will be charged from your account.
Walton Chase has a separate part for the Education Center on their website. It consists of eBooks, Asset Index, Frequently Asked Questions and Glossary. The glossary is always an excellent addition for each broker. If you are new in the Forex world, you don’t have to look at other places for explanations. All important terms are on the list.
FAQ Page may sound like a part you can skip, but trust me, it is not. If it is done properly, you can learn a lot of things. That’s what I like about the Walton Chase FAQ page. There are so many different explanations, so you can learn everything about the trading platform, trading, accounts, etc.
Lastly, there is the eBook section. This is the part that surprised me the most. I will be honest and say I did not expect to see so much educational material for free. Usually, you receive eBooks depending on an account, but with Walton Chase, you get them for free. You can learn everything about CFDs and Stocks, General Trading, Capital Management and many more. I am impressed, indeed and I advise you to use this possibility they gave to everyone and take your knowledge to the next level.
The first thing we see once we land on someone’s website is the design. It’s always a positive surprise to see that brokers work on that part, too. That said, people behind Walton Chase did an excellent job and I have to mention that in this Walton Chase review.
The design is neatly done, it is responsive and easy to manage. There are no unnecessary details, only the ones each trader needs. The theme they chose is dark and eye catching. There is a main menu on the top and it covers all information like Trading Platform, Education Centre, Account Types and Contact Page. So, everything is just one click away.
Each Walton Chase client can enjoy a web-based platform without installing any software. So, the only thing required is to have an account and an Internet connection. The platform consists of more than 200 assets and you can see all of them if you go to the Asset Index page. I like how they listed all those assets alongside the trading hours, so you can know every important detail.
The platform is responsive and optimised. You can trade on any device (computer, mobile or tablet) without interruptions. On the left side, there is a menu, so you can switch between positions, closed positions, deposit, funds and account settings. Next to that, you have the assets. They offer CFDs on Forex, Commodities, Crypto, Stocks and Indices and you can arrange them in the drop-down menu (by daily change, name and trending).
When it comes to the time zone, it is set at GMT +0 and it’s synchronized with the market time. The asset selection is excellent, you can choose between six crypto pairs and popular stocks such as Lufthansa, BMW and many more.
My overall experience with the platform was great. They didn’t put too many distracting details and I believe that everyone could easily manage through it. No matter the previous experience.
Proper customer support should always be a top priority for each broker and apparently, Walton Chase knows that. They offer different contact methods, so you can choose the one you prefer. Of course, I tested out the Live Chat option, but let us discuss all those methods first, and after that, I will talk about my impressions.
The first option is to call them on the phone. They have two different phone lines, one for Australia and one for the United Kingdom. The working hours of phone support are Monday to Friday 09:00 – 13:00 GMT.
The second option is email. You can send an email to their support or compliance department, depending on the question you have. Besides that, there is a fill-in form on the website, and you can reach them out using this method. What I like the most about this online form is the fact they listed four different departments. This way, your message will go straight to the people that are in charge (Customer Support, Trading Platform Assistance, General Feedback and Compliance).
The last method, and the one I tested, is Live Chat. The working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00-14:00 GMT. If you send them a message using this chat, you can expect to receive an answer within a minute. The agents are polite and educated, so they know how to give a proper answer. My experience was nothing but positive and I can say Walton Chase did an amazing job with the customer service.
The first step of the withdrawal process is identity verification. It does take a little bit more time, but it keeps your funds safe and that is the most important thing. The process is simple, you have to provide them with some documents that will prove your identity. Although this prolongs the withdrawal process, I like how they did everything to ensure that your funds are safe, and I give them a big plus for that.
Once that is done, you can proceed with the withdrawal. They offer three different methods: Credit/Debit Card, Bank Wire or Bitcoin Transfer and clients will have to choose the same method they used for deposits.
The minimum withdrawal amount is 100 USD/GBP/EUR for Credit/Debit Cards or Bank Wire and an equivalent of 250 USD for Bitcoin method. With every withdrawal you make, there is a small fee of 1%. Luckily, they put a reasonable amount for the fee, since 1% is really not that high.
The withdrawal process lasts between seven to ten days once you provided the necessary documentation. When they approve your request, you will have money on the account (depending on your bank it can take up to a few days). Seven to ten days may sound a lot, but keep in mind that depending on the account type you will have different priority levels (Level one for VIP, Level two for Platinum and Level three for Gold). That said, the waiting time depends on an account and I appreciate how they pointed that out clearly.
How good is this broker?
I can freely say that Walton Chase is a reliable, honest and helpful FX broker. They are completely legitimate, and they take good care of the clients. From everything I’ve seen and experienced, I can recommend them without any hesitations. It is up to you to choose the account you want, but the best thing of all is that if you are not sure which one to select, their agents are there to help you.
